Waiting Over 1 Year
A 10-year-old girl from Mexico with possibilities
Learn More about Jason AlfredoJason Alfredo lives with his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. His parents struggle to provide for the family. His father is a farm laborer and his mother is unemployed. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family’s needs.
Jason Alfredo is living in a poor village in the Latin American country of Honduras. Homes are made of sun-dried bricks with tile roofs and dirt floors. Beans and rice are staples of their diet, but sometimes families can get corn, eggs and locally grown fruit or vegetables. In forested regions the climate is hot and humid in the summer and cold in the winter. Weather in the south is warm and dry all year.
Jason Alfredo is in primary school and his favorite subject is studying the national language. He helps at home by running errands. He likes to play ball games. He is in satisfactory health.
Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Jason Alfredo and his community with access to clean water to prevent diseases, as well as improved school curricula, teacher training, and tutoring for children. Your faithful support will also provide families with education in proper nutrition, and will establish new gardens, fish ponds, and beehives to provide healthy food choices. And through our partnership with local churches, children will learn about the surpassing love of Jesus Christ.
What does my $39 a month do?
Your monthly sponsorship donation will combine with other donations for maximum impact in each community.
