Linh lives with her parents and has no brothers or sisters. Her parents struggle to provide for the family. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a farmer. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family’s needs.

Linh is growing up in a Vietnamese community 149 miles from Hanoi. The homes are constructed of rough-hewn wood with grass-thatch roofs. Families eat mostly rice and vegetables as well as fish when it is available. Because the community is located in the mountainous area the soil is less fertile and rice is harder to grow. August to November is the monsoon season and the summer is hot and humid.

She helps at home by sweeping the floors. She likes to watch tv. She is in satisfactory health.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Linh and her community with improved health through nutrition training and disease prevention. Farmers will better provide for their families by learning new agricultural skills, and child rights programs will help prevent child labor and abuse. Your faithful support will also supply schools with classroom materials and training for teachers. And our caring staff will reflect Christ’s love to these children through their actions and lives.
